Ingredients for Chocolate Fondue Recipe

  • 100 g of dark chocolate
  • 100 g of milk chocolate
  • 200 g of cream or milk
  • Fresh fruits such as bananas, strawberries, pineapples, tangerines, grapes, apples
  • Diced white bread or waffles
  • Marshmallow
  • 2 tablespoons of liqueurs like Baileys or Amaretto (Optional)

How to Make Chocolate Fondue?

  1. Put the cream in the pan and heat it over the lowest heat (even better if you do it in a double boiler).
  2. Then add the small chocolate chips you have cut into it and mix well.
  3. When the chocolate melts, add Baileys, Amaretto or vanilla extract for extra flavour.
  4. After the chocolate melts completely and the mixture becomes homogeneous, remove the chocolate from the stove.
  5. In a separate place, slice all the fruits and bread bite-size.

  • f you have a chocolate fondue set, you can eat sliced fruits and bread pieces by dipping them in chocolate with the help of long forks. If not, you can use normal cutlery and a ceramic pot or a glass container.

How to Serve Chocolate Fondue?

  • Place the fondue bowl on the spirit stove in the middle of the table so that it does not get cold (If you do not have a spirit stove, you can use candles).

  • Since the consistency of the fondue will get darker as it waits on the stove, remove it from the stove as soon as the chocolate melts.
  • If the fondue is still hard, you can add cream into it.
