  • 2-3 tablespoons of cherry liqueur (Kirsch)

  1. Put the fondue pot on the stove and after it is well warmed, rub inside the pot thoroughly with the garlic that you cut in half.
  2. In a separate bowl, grate the gruyere cheese and Emmental cheese with the thick side of the grater.
  3. Add cornstarch to the grated cheese and mix.
  4. Add the white wine and lemon juice to the fondue pan, which you have rubbed with garlic, and leave on medium heat until it is thoroughly heated.
  5. After the wine is heated, put the pot on low heat and slowly add the grated cheese to the pot.
  6. Stir the cheese with a wooden spoon, but be careful not to scratch the bottom while stirring.
  7. Add nutmeg walnuts and mix.
  8. Finally add Kirsch and mix one last time. Your fondue is ready!
